AUSTRALIA POST MIRRIWINNI LPO - MIRRIWINNI, QLD

Not happy Jan ! that this Post Office is often closed for a whole day . I was under the impression that Australia Post franchises still had to open regardless of circumstances except major natural disasters or accidents . I have been waiting for urgent medical supplies for my dog that have been most likely sitting in the post office at Mirriwinni for the past two days .It is now Friday and I won't get them until Minday now which means no medication for another three days as PO isn't open on weekends . Doesn't the owner have backup for when children are sick ? I understand that things happen but really when you provide a public service you must have back up to cover the designated opening times .
